Klündt|Hosmer’s Design Helps Make Spokane Shine

For nearly 2 decades, Klündt | Hosmer has designed the Spokane Regional Visitors Guide—something we are very proud of. This comprehensive 84-page publication features informative editorials, great photography and user-friendly maps to provide tourists and locals with the necessary resources to experience all aspects of the Spokane area. From romantic restaurants and popular pubs, to serene sightseeing and family fun, the guide provides recommendations for all ages and lifestyles.

Our creative team collaborated with Visit Spokane’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jeanna Hofmeister, and her team at Visit Spokane to design and produce the guide. 120,000 copies were printed and are now available at the Spokane Visitor Information Centers, Greater Spokane Incorporated, local and regional hotels, restaurants, and other tourism and visitor venues. You can also request a copy at 1.888.SPOKANE or

Bridging a Gap with Moloney+O’Neill

Moloney+O’Neill is a successful insurance, benefits and financial company serving businesses and individuals. As part of their products, they offer public and governmental organizations a “health reimbursement arrangement”—basically a savings plan that employees can use for health care-related expenses. The company hired us to assist in branding this product through the development of a name and visual brand identity.

Working with the Moloney+O’Neill team and Paine Hamblen, a regional law firm, we developed the name HealthBridge HRA. Along with the new name, a distinctive logo design was created to represent bridging the medical expense gap from health insurance to a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA).

The name and logo design are being used to promote and market this product to city, county, state and other public/governmental clients.

“Please help me welcome Klündt|Hosmer…”

We have been busy lately responding to invitations to speak at a variety of marketing, business and higher-education groups. We enjoy entertaining and educating groups on the process and power of branding and marketing, as well as other topics relevant to our industry. After being in business for 26 years, we’ve got some interesting and insightful stories to tell.

  • In April, Rick and Diane Mahan made a presentation on branding to a group of winery owners in Kennewick.
  • Also in April, Rick spoke to students on creativity and the creative process at Gonzaga University and Eastern Washington University.
  • Mastery Sheets spoke about front-end web development to the students in the Graphic Design Program at Spokane Falls Community College in April as well.
  • In May, Darin spoke on the future of advertising with a panel of advertising professionals at a Spokane Advertising Federation meeting.
  • Darin and Rick were the featured speakers at the May Spokane Regional MarCom Association meeting where they delivered a well-received presentation on “When Good Projects Go Bad” (and how to get them back on track).

Zangara-the-Great Joins Our Team

Heather Zangara has now been with Klündt | Hosmer since February, and although we haven’t featured her in our Spotlight newsletter until now, it’s not without acknowledging that she’s a great addition to our team. Heather comes to us with a communications degree from WSU and a background in PR/administration work in the banking field. She serves our team and clients as Account/Traffic Assistant and is the friendly face that greets our visitors. She likes to write and is a rock star proofer—a skill that’s earned her a lot of gold stars already. Heather and her husband have two young boys that keep her busy and she enjoys her time at the lake in the summer. We're happy to have her on board!
