Website Design Meets Architectural Design for ALSC
ALSC Architects is a nationally-recognized firm dedicated to translating client needs into beautiful, functional spaces. Working closely with ALSC's Principals, we wrote, art directed and created an innovative, new website for the firm. The lean, open design is reflective of ALSC's own approach to architecture, where the purpose of the building is enhanced by the design, rather than design pushing the agenda. An animated sequence on the homepage highlights the process and people that make ALSC's designs so unique, while a comprehensive portfolio section showcases their award-winning work.
Upon launching the site ALSC's Marketing Director, Terri McRae Garrett, shared with us, "I really appreciate all your patience and help in getting us through the process. You are so wonderful to work with! Please pass along my thanks and appreciation to everyone else at Klündt | Hosmer who worked on our project."
A Call to Protect the Environment
For centuries the Pend Oreille River Watershed has sustained the lives and culture of people who have lived there. As logging, roads, water diversion and other development affects natural habitat and stream flows in northeastern Washington, native salmonids—particularly trout and whitefish—are becoming threatened.
The Pend Oreille Salmonid Recovery Team is determined change that. We worked with Nick Bean, Fisheries Biologist with the Kalispel Tribe Fisheries Conservation Program, to write and design a series of print materials (a poster, brochure, fish I.D. card and bumper stickers) to inform people of their effective restoration and habitat improvement efforts, and to encourage participation in protecting the future for these critical native species. The Washington State's Salmon Recovery Funding Board assisted in the funding of these outreach materials.
Helping Haploos deliver empowering change
Haploos is a growing 30-person heavy industry consultancy empowering companies to develop and direct their own corporate culture and process improvements for the long-term. Haploos hired us to analyze their current brand positioning and marketing materials, provide competitive analysis and develop creative messaging and marketing materials to gain prospect's attention and to challenge their perceptions of their own industries.
Through an extensive engagement working with Robin Siemens, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, we developed compelling copy, design and production for a new corporate ID package, 8-page brochure, a detailed website and trade show exhibit design. The complete package positions Haploos as an innovative, change management consultant for heavy industry.
