Spokane Eye Clinic Cataract Surgery Campaign

An integrated campaign consisting of outdoor, newspaper and digital advertising promotes the cataract surgery services of Spokane Eye Clinic. Working closely with their marketing team, Klündt | Hosmer expanded on the successful 2015 campaign we created for the clinic by developing a new campaign using custom illustration to visually depict the improvements offered by Spokane Eye Clinic's cataract surgery.
“Improve your survival odds with Cataract Surgery” features a “before” image of a blurry form in a shadowy forest and the “after” image that sharpens to form an approaching grizzly bear. Cataract surgery will most definitely improve the survival odds of cataract patients in this situation.
“This moment brought to you by Cataract Surgery” follows a similar approach, with the "before" image showing a fuzzy image of a young girl sitting in a dark field, and the “after” image clearly shows a peaceful image of the girl blowing bubbles in a beautiful field of wildflowers.
The two campaign concepts connect the viewer to Spokane Eye Clinic's appointment schedulers via phone or directly to a customized online landing page.
The 9-month campaign tactics include billboards in Spokane Valley, north Division Street, and the South Hill — prime locations to reach Spokane Eye Clinic patients. Print advertisements will run in the Spokesman-Review to reinforce the billboard impressions, while a strategic digital remarketing ad campaign promotes cataract treatment through search engine text ads and display ads reaching online users within the area.
