We worked with Avista to concept, design, illustrate and manufacture a mobile exhibit for the Mobius Science Center. The project uses illustration and sound to bring the story of electric generation on the Spokane River to life. The display is interactive, with visitors generating electricity by turning a hand crank that powers the transmission of lights from the river to neighborhoods around Spokane. The exhibit also educates visitors on Kirtland Cutter’s influence on Spokane architecture and Avista’s commitment to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education. This video shows the Avista exhibit in use at Mobius.
