This series of eight signs line the Centennial Trail in downtown Spokane along the south bank of the Spokane River. The signs use text, illustration and photography to inform residents and visitors about the history of Spokane—the importance of the river, the impact of railroads and industry, historic bridges, Expo ’74, the Centennial Trail project, and fish and wildlife along the river corridor. The colorful signs were designed and written by Klündt | Hosmer and created as part of Spokane's new Convention Center project.
